For 10 to 15 bucks these videos better be a higher quality than their current videos in the iTunes Music Store.
I was hoping they'd be releasing a Mac Media Center to compliment this movie service, but after today's iMac update that seems unlikely (the 24" iMac would have been the perfect all-in-one media mac).
As for Disney and Apple, who would have thought! :eek: ;) :p

I cannot believe BMW is still putting MYRTLE WOOD in these cars. :p
With the small size, and probably less taxing engine, I wonder if this model will return longevity to BMWs. Sometimes the bigger cars (pick your company) have the great big engine and smooth ride, but almost every time they don't live as long as their mid-sized and sub-compact cousins from the same rollout.
I have seen a few 1 series BMWs and they look like they can compete against anything in gas mileage and performance and hit a sweet spot there, but I hope their price can take on sub-compact Acura TSX and Infiniti G35 models. The best local price I have seen on a 1 series is about $29,400 with tax, license, destination and loaded in the mid-range of features.

Wireless "N"? psh, I'm still using "B".
It would be nice - in theory - to have a hyper-fast wireless connection; however, what does it matter if my outside line stays at 2M/512k speed? The B-spec is perfectly fine for quite some time.

I think it'll be very awkward for Steve to announce the Mac Pros without a UB version of Photoshop being available, however I can't see CS3 being finished. However we know that Indesign is progressing well, so I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce Chizen came on stage and announced the availability of time limited betas; assuming Adobe are willing to help Apple.
I listened to most of the call and evidently missed this statement. I think it means that CS2, or Office, or Indesign will be out in some form. Probably as public Beta as you suggest. But, this is good news!
Market share increase is good news as well. It should happen, there are a lot of things positive about Apple computer now.

2001-Q1 would be when the "Dot.com Bubble" burst. The whole PC industry tanked, not just Apple. Motorola was also struggling to bring faster G4 processors to market, if I remember correctly.

What argument? My main point is that I hate driving, and a manual transmission doesn't help me enjoy it any more than an automatic.
That not all the manuals you've driven have been, bluntly, crap cars to begin with.

I hope to god they don't use bluetooth. I've had nothing but bad sound quality with those types of headphones.
Knowing Apple, if they are going in introduce wifi/bluetooth, they will only add the feature if it is up to their standards.

Not just songs. Could be used with a media dock for movies and TV shows too. And don't say Apple TV2. I mean away from your home.

Desktop sales are down 14% on last quarter, and 23% on a year ago, but laptop sales are up a whopping 60% on last quarter and 61% on a year ago.
Not surprising. They haven't released a replacement for the G5 tower, and people have been waiting for a faster laptop for 3+ years since they never had the G5 laptop.

iTunes Store can't now nor will it likely ever replace Dish Network for me. Just let me record my shows either directly with iTV or via something connected to it. I hope when this is released, HD DVD and Blu-ray make there way into Macs.

On betamax. Your very right it is very succesful in a production studios for broadcasting and what not. But now even those are being replaced by DVC Pro (which I think is sony is it not?).
DVC-PRO is a Panasonic created format.

All this speculation about the name of a hypothetical new sub-notebook- it's just not 'wow'. Usually at MW Apple announces some new, exciting product. I just don't see that 'wow' product being a new sub-notebook. I don't think that the over-analyzed banner is referring to a sub-notebook.
While they are probably going to announce a new sub-notebook, I think that something else will be the product (or service) with the 'wow' factor that Steve Jobs announces as the 'one more thing...' thing. And I don't think that it will be called Nike MacBook Air.
I was replying to zioxide, who only talked about screen size.
