OC Housewife Alexis Bellino Talks To Dr. Drew

Earlier this week, Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino revealed that she has struggled with an eating disorder. Following her admittance of the disorder, she spoke with Dr. Drew in an effort to set the record straight.

Bellino spoke about when the disease began, and sited that it was what was "eating her" not what she was eating that became the problem. At 12 years old her parents divorced and her inability to control the situation was one of the major reasons that she began purging. She also went on to say that gaining a few extra pounds in college only escalated the issue. When she realized that a friend was also doing the same thing, she continued on. She admitted to starving herself, binging, purging and even using laxatives.

It wasn't until she sought out help that she was able to get to the root of the problem. She began seeking the advice of a counselor and after her mother physically brought her to get help. Alexis Bellino admits that the battle was long and took many years to overcome, but that today she is happy to be healthy and in good spirits.

Tamra Barney: Alexis Bellino Will Divorce Too

Tamra Barney told viewers last night that Alexis Bellino’s marriage will eventually fall apart. Tamra Barney said Alexis Bellino’s marriage will crumble apart because Bellino’s husband is just like Barney’s own husband Simon.

While Tamra Barney has attempted to not portray herself as villainess this season, last night she was exactly that, appearing friendly to one Housewife only to trash her marriage to viewers later on.

Barney invited Alexis Bellino to a session of yoga only to insult Bellino for what she wore to the session. Barney jokingly called Alexis a b—ch because her body was too hot. “Alexis has this totally hot body. I would be lying if I didn’t say she is hot … b—tch!” Then she said that Bellino doesn’t dress right for yoga wearing fake eyelashes, even though Barney didn’t own up to wearing fake eyelashes herself during the session (according to Gretchen Rossi).

But the real turmoil erupted after Barney orders herself a glass of Chardonnay after yoga. During the dinner Barney appears to be friendly to Alexis; but during her video narrative taped later, she says that Alexis Bellino’s marriage will not last. Barney tells Bellino that her husband is a control freak like Barney’s ex husband, Simon. Barney even makes a dog gesture that Bellino is a canine pet to her husband that does anything to get pampered with gifts.

Bellino, however, defends herself saying that her husband is not like Simon. “I’ve heard from too many people that Alexis’ husband doesn’t like me” explains Barney. But after Barney calls him a control freak, it’s no wonder.

Barney was not so willing to talk about herself. When asked by Bellino about boyfriend Eddie Judge, Barney refused to introduce him to her.

“I don’t know I’m very weird about this … because my divorce is not finalized yet … it’s just too soon…. I had such a weird issue between Simon and Ryan that … I’m very content with my relationship being private. I’m just taking my time. Everything has happened so fast. And everyone likes to talk.”

Alexis Bellino: Second Thoughts About Peggy

The Real Housewives of Orange County returns Sunday night, and already the claws are out, and the fur is flying.

New Housewife Peggy Tanous is accusing her old friend (and season-five newbie) Alexis Bellino of sabotaging her efforts to join the cast. "Alexis didn't really want me on the show," Peggy meowed to us.

Is that true? Alexis told us us her side of the story—while sharing lots of scoop about the season ahead:

Peggy threw down some fighting words when she dished to E! News, "Alexis told me that [Housewives] was supposed to be 'her thing.' That made it really hard to film because I am a very strong believer in friendship."

Alexis says it is that very friendship that made her change her mind about recommending Peggy for the show: "I [had] this sick feeling [that] the show was going to eat us alive—tear our friendship apart," she told us. "I was trying to protect our friendship because to me our friendship is more important than the show. I just wanted our friendship to last."

"Now that she's saying I didn't want to share the spotlight," Alexis added. "I'm like, 'Girl, there's going to be six girls on the show—I'm going to have to share the spotlight. Why do I care if I share the spotlight?' I don't understand her whole philosophy, she's changed a lot this season, to be honest with you."

"We had an hourlong conversation with each other about this which I thought patched everything up, but obviously she still harbors a lot of resentment. So the reunion's going to be great!

"I just know that my friend that I had four years ago before the show wouldn't talk about me behind my back, wouldn't say the things she's saying in interviews that I'm finding out about. And a couple things happen during the season where she kicks me while I'm down."
