Renee Zellweger brings Hollywood to Berlin as she dazzles in a sparkly silver gown at Golden Camera Awards

Queen of the night: Renee Zellweger brought some Hollywood glamour to the Golden Camera Awards in Berlin in her stunning grey and silver strapless ballgown


The annual Golden Camera Awards celebrates the biggest stars of German TV, music and film.

But tonight, the glitzy ceremony got a taste of Hollywood glamour as A-listers Renee Zellweger swept in wearing a stunning grey and silver ballgown.

The 41-year-old actress showed off her toned arms in the unusual, strapless gown, which included threads of silver wire running through the bodice and skirt.

The Cold Mountain star was awarded with the Best International Actress award for her many memorable on-screen performances over the years.

A spokeswoman for award organisers, Hoerzu magazine, said they were honouring her for her ability to play natural and authentic roles.

Noticeably absent was her actor boyfriend Bradley Cooper, who is in mourning following the death of his beloved father Charles two weeks ago.

Renee was due to attend the Golden Globes at the time, but pulled out to be support Bradley and his family following the 71-year-old's death.

The couple have been quietly dating since summer 2009 after meeting on the set of supernatural thriller Case 39.

In a interview a few months ago, Cooper enthused: 'I can't say enough about her I just love her. I [loved] coming to work. I love acting with her. I can learn so much from her.'

Last summer, they moved into a $4.7million, three bedroom house in the Los Angeles suburb of Pacific Palisades.

Meanwhile, other Hollywood stars at the Golden Camera Awards included Danny De Vito, Michael J Fox, John Travolta, as well as Bee Gee Robin Gibb.

Back To The Future star Fox, 49, was honoured for his lifetime work, while Travolta picked up Best International Actor.

Travolta attended solo, leaving his wife Kelly Preston at home in the U.S. with their daughter Ella and newborn son Benjamin.
